Located in Witten, Germany, J.D. Neuhaus GmbH & Co. KG, which has more than 200 employees worldwide, produces pneumatically and hydraulically operated hoists and cranes. Due to this globally unique specialisation, J.D. Neuhaus represents not only the benchmark in this field, but is the global market leader, with customers in over 90 countries. J.D. Neuhaus supplies to around 70 sectors in total. Production occurs exclusively in Witten, Germany.
The wide product range is rounded off by services such as installation, inspection, maintenance and the general overhaul of the products as well as training courses for customers.
Sales companies in France, Great Britain, Singapore and the USA form a close-knit global network in cooperation with international partners for distribution. The export share is over 80%. The founding of the company goes back to the year 1745 and it is to this day, in its seventh generation, family-owned.

Extremely heavy ship components such as hull sections, engines, propulsion systems, or the ship’s propeller are often lifted and carefully positioned in difficult to access and narrow environments.
