SKF Marines has decades of experience in the production of oily water separators and the comprehensive knowhow for their onboard operation and maintenance led to the development of the two-stage Turbulo Mechanical Phase Breaker (TMPB).

Simplex sterntube seals
Simplex seals have set standards in the shipping industry and, after almost 70 years, remain at the cutting edge of sterntube seal technology. The spectrum of applications for Simplex seals is practically unlimited and many different versions are available to meet every need. Thanks to their utmost reliability, they protect the environment at the same time. For instance, the Simplex Lip ring seal with Airspace-technology helps to ensure absolute separation of seawater and sterntube oil.
SKF coupling systems
SKF coupling systems have a long and respected history in the marine industry. The SKF coupling system products have been trusted on CPP and FPP shaft lines for decades. Mounting and dismounting of heavy marine components is simplified by the SKF oil injection method. Precision products such as SKF OK shaft and flange couplings, SKF Supergrip and Quickgrip Bolts, marine hydraulic nuts and propeller sleeves are based on this technology and help to drastically reduce down time.
